The concept of a world without “cash” doesn’t seem far off. In many ways we’re already there. In the past few months I’ve had the misfortune of losing my debit card and having to live without any form of plastic money dispenser. I don’t have a credit card either. I went to the grocery store to get cash back with a check, they don’t do that anymore! Well, they only give you up to $10 after you’ve successfully had four or five checks go through and prove that you’re good for the money. WHAT? My new card will arrive by the time you allow me to have $10. Obviously I can go to the bank, but managing cash is very different. It’s often inconvenient for many small, independent locations that run almost exclusively on cards.
Chefs are without question artists. There’s a reason I spend so much time watching food based shows on Netflix. It’s not because I’m a huge stoner either, I just love to look at food. Especially as someone that hasn’t really ever had the capacity for truly beautiful plating. I also don’t dine in high quality enough places to experience this occurrence.
I’ve always had the same answer to this animal question… but I never learned the animals name. I just thought, you know – that bird that can fly and swim underwater and probably lives somewhere tropical? That bird is my favorite.
