Day Eleven


It’s not until I’m sitting in the crowd, waiting – then I feel inspired. Why not write a whole new set that no one has ever heard? You've never tried this before, you just go on stage and hope it works. Read the crowd. Don't think. Just drink.

Oh, wait you mean improv?

I'm trying to worry less about memorization and just to feel the room. I'll have a basic concept, an outline of what I'm most comfortable with. Then add in new pieces that feel they might strike the audience. I worry so much about running "old" material. 

I can't write today. I need to just get ready to perform.

I thought it would be a good idea to get a bikini wax for the first time before my show. Why not right? That's adulting?
